Corporate Partnership Framework

Building structured, trusted collaboration with industry partners

Context A national health coalition needed a more consistent and credible way to engage pharmaceutical companies whose work aligned with its mission. Existing relationships were informal, varied in quality and not delivering the strategic value the organisation required.

Approach Designing and implementing a Corporate Supporter Programme that provided a clear partnership proposition, governance framework and stewardship model. Building trusted relationships with senior contacts across multiple companies and establishing structured communication and engagement processes.

Impact The programme grew to 16 corporate partners, creating a stable, predictable model for collaboration. While it went on to generate over £200k per annum, its primary value was in strengthening cross‑sector relationships, improving organisational resilience and enabling more coordinated work across the sector of work.

Examples of Work

Membership Community Development

Re‑energising engagement and strengthening organisational connection

Context A membership organisation representing over 100 charities needed to improve member engagement, clarify its value proposition and strengthen the operational systems behind renewals, communication and relationship management.

Approach Leading a full review of the membership function, including CRM accuracy, subscription processes and engagement touchpoints. Developing strong relationships with member organisations, conducting structured conversations to understand needs, and redesigning the membership cycle to improve clarity, consistency and value.

Impact Membership income increased from £20k to £60k per year, but the more meaningful outcome was improved member confidence, stronger engagement and a clearer collective voice. Renewals became more reliable, and members felt better supported and more connected to the organisation’s mission.

Operational Strengthening for Organisational Growth

Creating systems that support scale, credibility and influence

Context As the organisation expanded its partnerships and membership base, its operations, governance and financial processes needed to evolve to support increased complexity and ensure consistent delivery.

Approach Leading operational delivery across governance, finance, policy development and internal systems. This included improving Board and committee processes, strengthening compliance, enhancing financial reporting and creating clear workflows for staff, contractors, Trustees and partners.

Impact The organisation became more confident, organised and strategically aligned. Stronger operations enabled it to manage growth, deliver more consistent engagement and increase its influence across the sector.

Governance & Compliance Framework

Ensuring organisational compliance through clear policies and structured oversight

Context The organisation needed to strengthen its governance and policy infrastructure to remain compliant, meet charity regulatory requirements and support a growing team. Policies were inconsistent, outdated or incomplete, and governance processes lacked structure.

Approach Conducting a comprehensive review of all organisational policies, identifying gaps, risks and areas requiring modernisation. Developing a full suite of compliant policies covering HR, safeguarding, finance, data protection, risk management and operational practice. Introducing structured governance processes, including Board reporting cycles, decision‑tracking, risk register management and policy review schedules.

Impact The organisation gained a clear, compliant and well‑maintained governance framework. Policies became accessible, up‑to‑date and aligned with legislation. Board oversight improved, risks were better managed, and staff had clarity on expectations and procedures. This strengthened organisational credibility and ensured the charity operated with confidence and compliance.
